Ryan and Jaime McMillan started R&J Contracting in 2013 with a small number of lawns, since then we have built our business to specialise in lawn mowing and garden maintenance, servicing large acreage properties, residential complexes, retirement villages as well as residential homes in Rotorua, Ngongotaha, Hamurana and Mourea.

Summer months, 1-2 weekly cycles. Winter months, for 3 weekly cutting cycles (or as required).

RnJ Contracting base is right here in Rotorua and we service the surrounding areas of Mourea, Hamurana and Ngongataha.
Each job varies depending on many factors, size obviously but also slope and obstacles.
In the growing seasons, spring and summer, we could visit your property once every 10 to 14 days. However in winter far less, maybe only once a month.
Yes we are fully qualified and equipped to manage hedges and trees.
Our service includes everything to do with your grounds; mowing, weeds, trees and hedges, fertilizer and growth.
Our schedule varies with the seasons . We liaise with you ahead of time to check and confirm the upcoming work.
We will answer your tender documents or quote in detail, in writing.
We welcome commercial clients and have the equipment to handle large complicated sites.
